Share Accounts
A Share (savings) account is the key to membership at the Credit Union. A $5.00 deposit in your new share account makes you eligible for all Credit Union services.
Share Draft Accounts
A Share Draft (checking) account provides you with the flexibility and convenience you require from a checking account.
Christmas Club Accounts
You decide the amount you want to save in this account. Regular deposits to your Christmas Club account add up over the months and earn the same rate dividends as a regular share account. The funds from this account are usually available the second week of October and automatically renew for the next year.
Vacation/Escrow Accounts
This account is a great way of saving for your vacation, taxes or anything you might decide to save for. These accounts earn the same rate dividend as the regular share account.
ATM/Debit Cards
Butler Heritage FCU makes MaterCard Debit Cards available to all members. Costs are controlled by the ATM used.
There is no charge at our two ATM locations:
- One Donham Plaza
- 660 North University Blvd.
Visa Credit Cards
The Credit Union offers Visa Platinum credit cards for a rate as low as 9.90% and Visa Classic credit cards for as low as 12.90%.
Loans
Our rates are typically lower than those of most other financial institutions. We offer new car loans with 100% financing, used car loans with 100% NADA book value, share secured loans, and signature loans.
GAP Insurance
When purchasing a new or used vehicle, you can purchase GAP Insurance (Guaranteed Auto Protection Plus) on your loan for a small fee. This insurance pays when your vehicle is deemed a total loss due to an accident or theft. Your auto insurance company may only cover the cash value or market value of your vehicle less a deductible. With GAP Insurance, this policy covers the difference between the actual cash value and the loan balance, less delinquent payments, late charges, refundable service warranty contracts and other related charges.
Payroll Deduction
Payroll deduction is the easiest, safest and most convenient way for you and your employer to deposit money into your accounts. You decide how you want your payroll distributed into your Credit Union accounts.
ACH Deposit/Withdrawal
Your Social Security, employer pension, monthly military allotment, deferred compensation, child support or any recurring check may be automatically deposited into your account.
Automatic monthly payments such as insurance and mortgage payments, to name a few, can also be set up through the ACH system.
Online Banking
The Credit Union has a website for your online banking needs. Just stop in or call to get your application to begin using our online banking product. Use the Login button to access Online Banking and apply for a loan, check your account balances or review your transactions that have cleared,etc.
Accident Insurance
You can sign up for Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance with the Credit Union. There is a free $1,000.00 policy when you sign up with the insurance company and you can purchase additional coverage for a small quarterly payment.
American Income Life Insurance Company is also offering credit union members a free $3,000.00 policy with the ability to purchase additional insurance.
Auto Insurance/Life Insurance
The Credit Union is partnered with Sentry Insurance, Liberty Mutual Insurance and CUNA Mutual Insurance to offer our members insurance at a discounted price.
E-Services
We all lead busy lives and have hectic schedules. Sometimes there are simply not enough hours in the day to make all our appointed rounds! That's why Butler Heritage Federal Credit Union is offering the convenience and flexibility of 24-hour credit union site to our members. From within our secure site, members are able to:

- Change Your Personal Access Password
